These are such joys, finding a dear cat, that beautiful colored bean. Thanks for sharing.
Kate, I just finished listening to your recent lecture. I really enjoyed it, thank you. Both the scholar and your person really shine through.
Wonderful picture of the squash. Love the yellow color along with the green
Is it a busk?
Always good to hear about found cats!
Hoping I can meet up with you and Ysolda when I’m over in Scotland next month!
The first squash is *so* exciting! Rhineback—fun but also sad sans you!
Your new old thing is very intriguing I can’t think what it could be.
I love the stripy beans. We grew some here this year, though I left them to get too big because they were a little tougher than they should be. I’ll know better for next year when I sow the seed I’ve saved (also mottled and pretty).
The date is intriguing.
I hope the found cat gets back home soon, at least he seems to be in the custody of somebody kind in the meantime, though. The colours in your photos are *very* pleasing on a grey morning.
I love to see “found” signs…”lost” signs make me so sad. Wish they came with follow up so you know there was a happy outcome.
I covet your squash! Is the found cat YOUR cat, or a miscellaneous cat that once was lost and now is found?
That is one delightful squash! I am seriously considering adding a sqaush patch to the garden next season.
