Just to say that my Edinburgh walk “In the steps of Jane Gaugain”, is now live over at Twist Collective. Discover centuries of knitting heritage while you stomp about the city! There is a map linked to the walk, which you can download (for handy reference). It has arrows, and everything.

Ditto what Thea said. You may be single-handedly triggering a knitterly migration toward Edinburgh. We want to come and walk, experience, and knit!

When I am up North again in the coming weeks, I shall skippety up on the train and walk in Gaugain’s steps. It shall be marvellous and I am very excited at the prospect! -
I read it — what a lovely walk – in such a gorgeous city! The photos and the description make me want to buy a ticket and hop on a plane!

What a great walk – I’m hoping to make it up to Edinburgh sometime this summer so I’ll be printing that out and sticking it in my guidebook.
