Hello! Thank you for bearing with me. I have a couple of announcements for you today . . .

A woman with gray hair wearing glasses stands smiling in front of a backdrop of evergreen trees. She is dressed in a brown, knitted cardigan over a floral shirt and blue jeans. The image showcases both the front and back views of her outfit.
Amy, in her ‘Horseback Brown’ Yorlin. It’s her birthday today: happy birthday, Amy!

First, congratulations to all the Yorlin knitters who have completed their fabulous cardigans. The grand winner of our KAL is lovely Amy, who knitted her beautiful version in the tasty, complex, Horseback Brown shade of Milarrochy Tweed . . .

Amy wins a Colour Compass box, and gets to enjoy all of the 23 other shades of Milarrochy Tweed at her leisure . . .

A neatly arranged box containing 24 colorful yarn balls in various shades, including pastels, vibrant hues, and earthy tones.

These boxes, by the way, make a wonderful treat for those of you who enjoy advent calendars, or like to give such things as gifts.

Unlike the majority of yarn-y advents on the market, Colour Compass includes a fabulous ebook of six tried-and-tested patterns, plus palette-choosing advice (to really help you make the most of your yarn).

We now have very limited quantities of Colour Compass boxes available (I think there are somewhere between 20 or 30 remaining in stock) and (as we like to freshen things up) this is probably the last year we are going to offer them, so time is definitely of the essence if you’d like a Colour Compass advent box for this festive season.

Second, for everyone who has been asking, yes, we are going to be doing a club this winter!

I’ve been working on this project for most of this year, and, having quietly kept it to myself for ages, I’m really looking forward to telling you more over the coming days and weeks. If you don’t need any encouragement, club sign-ups are open now, and if you’d like a hint of what’s to come, have a wee gander at the photo at the top of this missive . . . more soon . . and meanwhile . .
