Good morning! Just to let you know, if you have signed up for our Summer of Mystery Club, that your membership code is now LIVE!

You can use your membership code to purchase anything you like in the KDD shop. Before using your code, please read – and follow – the instructions in your Welcome Pack carefully as we can’t apply codes retrospectively.

Many of you might be interested in using your membership code for our new MKAL yarn packs. We have created 9 different ready-made palettes for you to choose from, which you can browse now in the shop. Each palette has a name: in some cases, this is the name of a character in one of the Allingham books we will be reading during the club . . .

. . . while in other cases, the palette takes its name from the knitter who created it . . .

. . . and in one case, the palette is named after the person who inspired it.

Combining hot pink and orange, the Jeanette palette is named for our friend Jeanette Sloan (whose signature shades you can read more about in our Colour at Work book)

Remember that these 9 palettes are just a place to start: the whole team has been very inspired to see all the different colourways that you have been swatching and developing over in the Goff Place Mystery thread on Ravelry.

You can of course develop (and name!) your own palette using a completely different selection of shades of Milarrochy Tweed – or any other fingering-weight yarn in your stash that knits to gauge.

There are a few weeks before your first MKAL clue lands – so, whatever yarn you are using and whichever shades you choose, please have fun swatching and developing your Goff Place Mystery palette!
Happy swatching!
