Yesterday evening I finished reading “Margery Allingham. A Biography”, by Julia Thorogood. Such a well-researched and interesting story of Margery’s life and times, from her childhood through to her final years. A really great way to get to know her and her work and of course her Albert Campion novels. I am truly excited by this whole mystery summer! Bring it on!
So excited! I decided to read a few of the earlier books to introduce myself to Campion. I just devoured The Crime at Black Dudley, and will start Mystery Mile tomorrow. I might have time to read the next few before the club starts.
