    I was going to ask what the last thing was, and now I know! I will be interested to hear your opinion, and whether you’ll be experimenting with the Shetland style of knitting :-)

    Beautiful! May I ask the significance of the feather bundle? The shafts look amazing in the light you photographed them in.

      It is a knitting sheath — to hold long dpns and enable knitting on the move — fashioned from hens feathers, and bound with twine. I love it.
