A fun, colourwork tam, with a ring of paper dolls dancing around the crown. (warning! Should not be worn with an accompanying paper dolls sweater!)
One size fits average woman’s head (21-22 inches).
You will need around 100 yards of the main colour, 80 yards of contrast colour 1, and less than 25 yards of contrast colour 2. This sample was knitted in Jamieson’s Shetland spindrift.

Hi Kate, i made my version of your “dolheid” design.The brim of mi tam is made with selfspon rabbit angorawool, its very soft and warm on my ears. My friends like my tam very much, it’s a great succes, thanks! It’s a pity that i can’t send you a photo of it .
